Dernières tendances anti-science: anti-entomophagisme et pétro-masculinisme
We’re familiar with climate deniers and anti-vaccinationists. But are you familiar with anti-entomophagists (who reject insects as food) and petro-masculinists (apostles of fossil fuels, elevated as a pillar of the economy and male identity)? What do they have in common with our good old anti-science? What sets them apart?
Panelists:
– Marie-Hélène Deschamps, Assistant Professor – Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Université Laval
– Anita Légaré, Entrepreneur – Nutrivore Insectes
– Marie-Anne Casselot, post-doctoral fellow – Department of Philosophy, Université Laval
– Sylvain Bédard, Scientific Coordinator – School of Applied Politics, Université de Sherbrooke
Moderator: Philippe Robitaille-Grou, science journalist, Fernand-Seguin 2021 Fellow
