The annual colloquium of the Regroupement des étudiants et étudiantes aux cycles supérieurs en études politiques (RECSEP) at the Université de Sherbrooke will be held on April 2 and 3. Three student researchers from the UNESCO-PREV Chair will be taking part.
Elise Mazaloubaud will take part in the first panel, Inégalités et représentations : genre, politiques publiques et numériques. She will discuss women’s hatred, the spectre of an increasingly uncomplicated form of online violence.
Perrine Hely will take part in the second panel, Entre frontières et tensions: enjeux politiques et économiques nord-américains. She will address the porosity of Canada-US digital borders and their influence on extreme right-wing ecosystems.
Alexandre Ménard will take part in the third panel Climate governance and misinformation: Canadian and international perspectives. He will discuss climate misinformation and denial in Quebec and Canada.
