Round table on science communication and popularization

Our co-holder, Marie-Eve Carignan, will take part on February 24 in a roundtable discussion that will address, among other topics:
  • The challenges of science communication in a context of misinformation
  • Issues related to scientific and media literacy
  • The role of emotions in the reception of knowledge
  • The tensions between expertise, skepticism, and public debate
  • The conditions necessary to maintain trust in science

This roundtable on science communication and popularization, free and open to the entire university community, is organized by the Department of Communication at the Université de Sherbrooke. It will take place in the atrium of the Quantum Institute at the Université de Sherbrooke.
