The Center for Media Studies announces the appointment of Marie-Eve Carignan as assistant director. She brings to the Center recognized expertise in communication, media, and public trust through her research, which focuses on media content analysis, the impact of media on society, disinformation and conspiracy theories, risk and crisis communication, and communication strategies.
This appointment coincides with the University of Sherbrooke joining the CEM’s network of partner institutions, thereby strengthening its interuniversity network and its ability to contribute to the discussion on contemporary media issues.
International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE)
Marie-Eve is also joining the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) as a member.
