The purpose of this event was to question the role of the Internet in radicalization processes leading to violence.
Political and media commentators and their “experts” often attribute to the Internet an important, if not major, role in radical dynamics. On the specialist side, we are more cautious with what we could call “e-radicalization.” For the latter, social-digital networks do not seem to be the “road to Damascus” that is regularly presented to us.
