Study day on the transdisciplinary challenges of climate information and misinformation

On April 9, a study day will be held to take a transdisciplinary and multifaceted look at climate information and misinformation.

“Climate information and misinformation are cross-cutting phenomena that affect the disciplines within which climate change is studied. In order to fully understand the consequences of these phenomena, it is important to encourage dialogue between the various disciplines and stakeholders. Thanks to the support of the federating research themes “climate change and the environment” and “living together”, the UNESCO-Prev Chair and Climatoscope, this is exactly what is proposed by the present study day.”

The following are invited to take part: researchers from various disciplines; students from the Université de Sherbrooke and elsewhere; and people from practical backgrounds (environmental organizations, media, politicians, etc.).

When: April 9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: A2-0008, Faculty of Education, Université de Sherbrooke
