Consultation on changes to the 1974 UNESCO Recommendation in the field of education and human rights
Our co-holder Vivek Venkatesh has been invited by UNESCO to participate in a Regional Technical Consultation for Europe and America. This consultation will involve proposing changes to be made to the Recommendation concerning education for international understanding, co-operation and peace and education relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Government of Canada announces expert advisory group on online safety
The Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage, and David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, announced the creation of a new Expert Advisory Panel on Online Safety on which our co-holders Ghayda Hassan and David Morin were selected.

On March 7, 2022, the UNESCO Chair in the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Extremism (UNESCO-PREV) presented to the Political Commission of the International Organization of La Francophonie the results of a study on the prevention of violent extremism in the Francophone space.
